The 22nd Annual D.I.C.E. Awards, presented by The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS), are being held on February 13, and you’ll be able to watch the ceremony live on IGN.
The D.I.C.E. (Design Innovate Communicate Entertain) Awards will be co-hosted by Greg Miller of Kinda Funny and Jessica Chobot of Nerdist News. This year’s Hall of Fame recipient will be Microsoft’s corporate vice president and head of 343 Industries Bonnie Ross. The full list of nominees shows God of War leading in total nominations.

When to Watch
The 2019 DICE Awards will be streamed live on Wednesday, February 13 at 8pm PT/11pm ET (Thursday, February 14 at 4am UK/3pm AET).

56 total games from 2018 have been nominated for various awards, though God of War leads with 12 total nominations, including Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Story, Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction and more. Following is fellow PlayStation 4 exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man with 11 nominations, Red Dead Redemption 2 with eight, and Return of the Obra Dinn with six.

God of War was IGN’s Best Game of 2018, with Red Dead Redemption 2 coming in as our runner up. Other nominees included Spider-Man, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Celeste, Forza Horizon 4, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and more. God of War also won The Game Awards’ Game of the Year 2018.
In our review of God of War, we called the game a “Masterpiece” saying “God of War’s outstanding characters, world, and combat come together to form an unforgettable adventure.”
