The revival of Sir Daniel Fortesque.

The MediEvil remake is officially coming to PlayStation 4 this fall.

Announced during today’s State of Play livestream, Sony revealed MediEvil will be released on October 25, 2019. It is coming exclusively to PS4 and is being developed by Other Ocean Interactive.

Today’s trailer began with a brief story introduction, telling the tale of how Sir Daniel Fortesque lost his life defending the Kingdom of Gallowmere from the evil sorcerer Zarok, who subsequently revived Daniel’s corpse. The trailer features third-person running, jumping, sword swinging, arrow shooting and more, complete with skeletons riding dead horses, mobs of zombies, and undead monks.

MediEvil was announced for PS4 during PSX 2017, and we later learned it is a remake rather than a remaster.
