There was so much information shared at Star Wars Celebration Chicago earlier this month, that I am only now finishing watching the various live streams and looking through all the photos taken. Whilst looking at the high-resolution images from Hasbro featuring their upcoming San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) Black Series Boba Fett Kenner Deco exclusive (image gallery included below for your viewing convenience), I noticed a small logo in the top left hand corner. On closer examination I realized it was a new logo celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back in 2020.

The new logo features a silhouette of Luke & Vader, similar in design to that of Luke & Leia we got for the 40th anniversary of Star Wars in 2017. Like that design we also get the cut off corners but the font is different. How does this compare to the 30th anniversary logo we got for The Empire Strikes Back in 2010? Let us know what you think!

We expect to see this logo on lots of products/packaging in due course, and we think the anniversary will play a major part in next year’s Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim too.

The Black Series 6″ Boba Fett Kenner Deco will be available at SDCC for $24.99, and limited quantities of this item may be available at other select conventions in North America, South America, Australia, and Europe and online at HasbroPulse.com following the convention. This item will also be available at select retailers in Asia.
