But will it leave us any clearer?

After numerous teasers from Hideo Kojima, Kojima Productions has today revealed that Death Stranding will get a new trailer on May 29.

The marketing of Death Stranding continues to be cryptic, but after revealing some clues last month at the Tribeca Film Festival, Hideo Kojima tweeted a short video teasing the upcoming game.

The video itself reveals little (as is typical of Kojima), but it does features both the handprint motif we’ve seen throughout the game’s marketing, and the game’s main protagonist, Sam, played by Norman Reedus. It also says, “Create the Rope,” which may be in reference to all the tubes and black strands we’ve seen connected to things throughout all the teases.

Whilst the Internet tore that teaser apart to try and find some hidden clues, Kojima Productions then tweeted that we’d be getting a new trailer on May 29.

Again, no new reveals on the surface but “Create The Rope,” is referenced. Could this be the multiplayer aspect that Kojima has teased? Will we the players all be creating some kind of rope in whatever this game is? And if so, for what?

Death Stranding still has no release date, but we did learn that while it still may release on PlayStation 5, it will for sure still be arriving on PlayStation 4 alongside Sony’s other big exclusives – The Last of Us II and Ghost of Tsushima.
