Anthony Forrest, the Sandtrooper that was Jedi mind-tricked by Obi-Wan Kenobi in A New Hope, is the seventh guest announced as attending Echo Base Live: Unmasked, Europe’s premiere Star Wars collectors event, on March 7th, 2026, at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre, Redditch.

Anthony is a British-Canadian actor, writer, producer, director and composer. He played the roles of Sandtrooper and ‘Fixer’ in Star Wars. He played the part of the Sandtrooper that was Jedi mind-tricked by Obi-Wan Kenobi, although they didn’t use his voice. His other role of ‘Fixer’ showed him interacting with his friends Luke Skywalker and Biggs Darklighter and Tosche Station in a deleted scene.

Away from Star Wars, Anthony has worked on Space 1999, The Eagle has Landed, The Spy Who Loved Me, Bergerac, and La Femme Nikita.

Anthony will be joining us all day, signing autographs and answering your questions.
