The staff at Empire Magazine have got together to rank the 50 greatest Star Wars characters of all time from film and TV, from the OT to the PT and to the ST and beyond (comics, games and literature were not included).
Now, the Empire team’s most passionate nerfherders, moof-milkers, and all-round rebel scum have gathered to rank the 50 greatest characters in Star Wars, voting for faces across every canonical era of the saga, from the OT to the Sequel Trilogy and beyond — including the movies, streaming series, and animated shows. (Note: Characters outside of TV and film were not included here, hence no Cal Kestis, no Marchion Ro, no Doctor Aphra etc.) Those votes were then totted up and final orders were fiercely debated before being put through C-3PO’s hardware.
