There aren’t any special editions available for the game, so the standard is all you can get. Curiously, this game used to be available for preorder at Amazon and Walmart, but it no longer is. Why? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Trailer

What is Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door?

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a remake of the original Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door that was first released on GameCube back in 2004. It was first announced last year during September’s Nintendo Direct and fans were treated to the official release date during Nintendo’s MAR10 Day celebration this past weekend.

While we don’t know a lot about it so far, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door’s reveal trailer from last year’s Nintendo Direct offered a nice little look at the updated visuals in the game, and it looks like it’ll be a joy to have on Switch. In our glowing review of the original, we stated that, “The story is funny, the gameplay varied, and the world so charming, you’ll want to explore every last corner of it.” It’s a Mario game you definitely don’t want to miss out on.
