The latest new Pokémon to join the Galar region has been unveiled – but only partially. The Pokémon Sword and Shield website has seemingly been hacked by a glitched and as-yet-unnamed Pokémon. The official Pokémon Twitter account shared a link that leads to the upcoming games’ main website – but a corner of the screen is covered by a pixelated image. If you hover your cursor over it the image flees around the page a few times until you’re able to click it, and the cry of a mysterious Pokémon rings out.

Visitors are then transported to a new page filled with glitches that censor key information about the new Pokémon, including its name. What we do know is that it’s a fighting type, weighs 257.9 lbs, and has the ability Steadfast.

There’s also a line underneath that reads “Only [redacted] that have survived many battles can attain this [redacted]. When this Pokemon’s [redacted] [redacted]ers, it will retire from combat.”

Squinting fans have been trying to guess what the Pokémon is, with some suggesting it looks like a new Galar form of Farfetch’d or Cubone. There’s also the possibility that it’s an entirely new Pokémon altogether.
