and Shield that shares a striking resemblance to the rock star.As reported by Eurogamer, Obstagoon is a brand new Galarian evolution of Zigzagoon that was revealed earlier this week in a trailer that also gave us the Hangry Morpeko, Top Hat Weezing, and the On-the-Nose Team Yell.
Fans all over the internet pointed out the obvious comparison between Simmons and Obstagoon, and Simmons took to Twitter to share his initials thought with one word: “welp.”
However, he later provided a statement to Newsweek that said “Pokemon has been a part of our household for decades, ever since our kids discovered them, and to see Pokemon pay homage to Kiss, is flattering.”
The real question now is whether or not he will actually play as his Pokemon doppelganger later this year when Pokemon Sword and Shield are both released for the Nintendo Switch on November 15, 2019.

We can only hope that Obstagoon’s Gigantamax form, if he has one, will turn him into a multi-headed Pokemon that will honor and look just like the rest of KISS.
