The “Woman Yelling at a Cat” meme combines an image of Taylor Armstrong from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pointing and yelling with a picture of a harmless cat sitting behind a dinner plate, because internet humor has become a bizarre mix of deep cut pop culture references and… cats.
Naturally, the woman represents outraged Baby Boomers misplacing their blame for gun violence on video games, and the cat represents the mildly surprised gamers harmlessly playing their Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Persona 5.
So let’s get to it!
Let’s be real: tea time in Three Houses
is of the utmost importance, so here’s our guide on how to optimize your tea time with characters. Yes, even Bernadetta can enjoy being outside from time to time.
Elfroot is extremely common in Dragon Age: Inquisition, so collecting some in the Hinterlands sounds like some free therapy to me.
Spending time with confidants in Persona 5 can take dozens of hours, but it’s ultimately added years to our lives.
We presume IGN’s Jonathon Dornbush has spent literal days taking selfies with Donald Duck in Kingdom Hearts 3, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
It’s not out until Halloween, but Luigi’s Mansion 3 may just be one of 2019’s funniest games. We can’t wait to hear him say “MARIOOOO” in a terrified voice over and over.
Yesterday, the internet also went wild over a suspicious looking Galar Region Weezing, and a Zigzagoon evolution that is absolutely, undeniably just Gene Simmons from Kiss. Don’t believe us? Check out Obstagoon in the slideshow above.
Colin Stevens is IGN’s video game social coordinator, and his tea time in Three Houses is sacred. Follow him on Twitter.
