God Save the NPCs.

Ubisoft has confirmed that Watch Dogs Legion will be revealed at E3 2019.

The official Watch Dogs Twitter account, which is now fully branded for and named Watch Dogs Legion, posted a cryptic teaser with a new logo. Accompanying the video were the words “God Save the NPCs. Reveal at E3. #WatchDogLegion #UbiE3”

This reveal arrives a day after the leak that said the next Watch Dogs would indeed be taking place in a “near-future, dystopian version of London.”

The “God Save the NPCs” line from the above Tweet is also in line with the leak, which said that players would be able to assume the role of any NPC they encounter and that players will “see different things at different points in the game depending which NPC you’re playing as.”

Watch Dogs Legion will be the next entry in the Watch Dogs series that had its last entry in 2016 and took place in San Fransisco. In our review of Watch Dogs 2, we said that “flexible hacking in open missions give Watch Dogs 2 a distinctive flavor, though its story clashes with its violence.”

Fans won’t have long to wait for their first look at Watch Dogs Legion as Ubisoft will be holding its E3 2019 press conference on Monday, June 10 at 12:30pm PT/3:30pm ET/8:30 PM BST.
