Anyone who’s seen the (surprisingly solid) 1995 Mortal Kombat film directed by Paul W. S. Anderson probably has its techno-laced theme pounded in their head. The latest trailer for Mortal Kombat 11, due out next week, weaponizes the nostalgia attached to that ridiculous (and ridiculously catchy) theme song to great effect:
