Actor Tom Holland has discussed his next Spider-Man movie, saying there is “some stuff going on,” and he is excited by what’s happening, but there is no guarantee the film will be made.
Speaking to Inverse, Holland said plans are in motion for his fourth Spider-Man movie, but, “Whether or not it’ll come to fruition, who knows?”
“But right now it’s looking pretty good, and we’ll just have to wait and see,” he said.
Before this, producer Amy Pascal addressed the possibility of another Spider-Man movie starring Holland. She said “of course” there will be another movie, but the script is not being developed at this time due to the ongoing writers’ strike. “We’re all being supporters and whenever they get themselves together, we’ll get started,” she said.
Holland has starred in three mainline Spider-Man movies so far, including Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). Holland has also played Spider-Man in multiple Avengers movies.
Holland is planning to take a break from acting after he starred in and produced The Crowded Room, which he remarked was a tough shoot.
In addition to Holland’s next Spider-Man movie, a Spider-Woman film is in the works and will be here “sooner than you’d expect.”
