Hot off the heels of the successful RPG The Outer Worlds, Obsidian Entertainment has announced another offbeat project: a survival game where players explore a microcosm of our world.
Grounded is a co-op survival friendly survival game where up to four players are shrunken to the size of an ant and then tasked with gathering supplies to build a camp while fending off threats from the local insect population.
“Grounded offers our unique take on survival games, creating an unforgettable experience,” says game director Adam Brennecke. “It’s a perfect setting to flex our creative muscles. We want to create a versatile sandbox where players can create their own memorable experiences.”
Stay tuned for more on this special project which is set for early access this Spring on Xbox One and PC through Microsoft’s Game Preview and with Xbox Game Pass programs. Read our recent preview here.
