HBO started production on the new Harry Potter TV series earlier today, July 14th, adding Andor’s Anton Lesser to the cast as Garrick Ollivander, considered by many to be the best wandmaker in the Wizarding World.
The show has begun filming at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, U.K.
In addition, the production announced a few more castmembers playing key roles: Rory Wilmot as Neville Longbottom, Amos Kitson as Dudley Dursley, Louise Brealey as Madam Rolanda Hooch and Anton Lesser as Garrick Ollivander.
Other Star Wars alumni attached to the Harry Potter project include Skeleton Crew’s Nick Frost playing Hogwarts gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid.
