Kingdom Hearts Fans Have Another Chance To Get Nintendo's Sora Amiibo

One of the most elusive and sought-after Nintendo Switch Amiibo figures is receiving a reprint: Sora from Kingdom Hearts. The Keyblade wielder has been hard to find for a reasonable price since launching in February, but now it’s the latest popular figure scheduled for a re-release. The Sora Amiibo reprint releases November 7 and is available to preorder for $16 at GameStop and Best Buy.

GameStop actually has a bunch of Amiibo figures that were previously sold out, so make sure to take a look at other figures, especially since GameStop requires customers to spend over $79 to get free shipping. Some of the highlights include the Minecraft Steve and Alex combo pack, Ness from Smash Bros. (and Earthbound/Mother), Mr. Game & Watch, Duck Hunt, the original Nintendo robot accessory R.O.B.

GameStop Amiibo Restock (October 2024)

The Sora Amiibo features the star of Kingdom Hearts with his signature Keyblade. Sora originally joined the small list of non-Nintendo characters who have appeared in Super Smash Bros. and received the Amiibo treatment on February 16. Other notable non-Nintendo characters with Amiibo figures include Banjo & Kazooie from Rare’s classic platformer series and Terry Bogard of Fatal Fury and King of Fighters fame.

Sora is just the latest Amiibo figure to receive a reprint this year. Numerous The Legend of Zelda Amiibo figures were reissued ahead of Echoes of Wisdom’s release, including the adorable doll-like Link from Link’s Awakening (and Echoes of Wisdom) and Toon Zelda from The Wind Waker.
