The Poweradd dock charger plugs directly into an outlet and has four ports: a USB Type-C port, a USB Type-A port, an HDMI port, and an ethernet port. At its fastest rate, the Switch will continue charging even while you’re playing games. The HDMI port connects your Switch to your TV. The Poweradd supports up to 4K resolutions at 60Hz, which is more than good enough for the Nintendo Switch, since the most it can output is 1080p at 60Hz.
The biggest advantage of the Poweradd is that it is considerably smaller than the Switch dock. That makes it much easier to stow away in your bag without having to buy yet another larger Switch case. A USB Type-C cable is already included as well, so all you’ll need to supply is your Nintendo Switch and an HDMI cable.
