During an interview with Kristie Lu Stout for CNN, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy shared an update on her upcoming New Jedi Order film starring Daisy Ridley saying “we’re about to create is something very special.”
“I’m very thrilled about the project because I feel what we’re about to create is something very special. And we’re in 2024 now, and it’s about time that we had a woman come forward to shape a story in a galaxy far, far away.”
The key words in Obaid-Chinoy’s comment above are “about to“, possibly backing up the reports from late last year of a starting date of April 7th, 2024. More as we get it!
