Similar to indie hit Celeste, Sunblaze is a precision platformer where you have to carefully gauge every leap that you make. You’ll play as Josie, AKA Sunblaze, who is on a mission to complete her superhero training. How do you get your superhero license? By completing a challenging training simulator full of deadly traps, spikes, and drones that has been designed by Josie’s old man himself. Also, you have a pet cat sidekick to help you out.
It’s a fairly challenging game beneath its cute facade, but if you can master it and overcome the various challenges that are constantly thrown at you, it’s a cathartic experience.
