Respawn sure loves pulling fast ones, doesn’t it? After messing with fans’ expectations that Revenant would be the new character for Apex Legends Season 4: Assimilation by announcing Forge would be the new legend instead, the developer has now gone back to implying it’s Revenant.
There’s now a video interview with Revenant stabbing Forge in the back–leaving the fates of both characters up in the air. Did Forge die? Did he only receive a flesh wound and managed to counter Revenant’s attack in time? We don’t know (yet), but the video has left the identity of Season 4’s new character in flux. It could still be Forge or it might now be Revenant. Or, it could be both.
