Microsoft has revealed that Ori and the Will of the Wisps will have a Collector’s edition for the Xbox One version when it launches on February 11. The Will of the Wisps releases for PC the same day, but it won’t have a physical version.
The Collector’s edition includes a game disc, an art book, the Piano Collections soundtrack on CD, a golden feather Steelbook-brand case, and an MP3 download of the original soundtrack. The digital soundtrack’s download must be redeemed by February 11, 2021. Unfortunately, no price has been announced. We’ll keep an eye out for that and when pre-orders go live and update this article with the proper links.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps comes on a physical disc, but Microsoft says you will need up to 30 GB of storage–though this is subject to change. Will of the Wisps will feature 4K Ultra HD support on Xbox One X, in addition to HDR on both the Xbox One S and X.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is also coming to Xbox Game Pass for console and PC on day one, so if you’re a subscriber, you won’t need to pay anything extra to enjoy the game. It hits both Xbox One and PC on February 11. For more information on Microsoft’s subscription service, check out our Xbox Game Pass guide.
