The Riddler has scattered hundreds of Riddler Trophies and Challenges all over Gotham in the form of his well known Riddler Trophies, as well as Riddles, Breakable Objects, and new Bomb Rioters.
- Riddler Trophies are small green objects shaped like a question mark, and are often hiding in secluded areas, or behind destructible walls.
- Riddles are verbal puzzles given by Riddler himself, and reference hard to find clues in the environment, usually relating to an important person or place in Gotham
- Breakable Objects are small but distinguishing items placed around Gotham that can be destroyed, usually by a Batarang, Remote Electrical Charge, or by the Batmobile‘s weapons
- Bomb Rioters are unique thugs found among swarms of other looters who unknowingly have a bomb implanted in their brains by Riddler. Only by discretely locating them and defusing them with an electrical charge can Batman save them.
Like previous Arkham games, you’ll need to find every last collectible if you want to face Riddler head on, and he’s placed his trophies in every location possible. Riddler icons/challenges not showing up for you even when you’re at the location described in this guide? That’s because you haven’t advanced far enough or haven’t completed the sidequest(s) necessary to unlock the challlenge.
