The final installment in Hitman 2’s 2019 roadmap is bringing players to the tropical south Asian islands of the Maldives, along with a smattering of new and returning contracts that long-time Hitman players will remember.

Hitman 2 developer IO Interactive posted a video detailing September’s roadmap. Here’s a breakdown of everything we can expect this month.

September 24 is the big day, where the brand new Haven Island map becomes available. Its story picks up right after the events of the New York bank level, and is the official conclusion to Hitman 2’s

expansion pass. IO plans to stream on September 23 to pour over details of the new map.

Expansion pass owners will also receive two new special assignment missions. These new missions, an assassination in Miami and later Whittleton Creek, tell a smaller story but feature new targets to assassinate.

The Biggest Games Still Coming in 2019

On September 5, Hitman 2 players can return to the first DLC level, the New York City bank, for a new 3-stage escalation contract where you’re forced to wear the bunny rabbit bank robber outfit. Another escalation contract, dubbed “the Covert Disposal,” tasks you with taking out security guards around the garden party in Whittleton Creek.

On September 12, another new escalation contract gets added, set in the Mumbai level, and Agent 47 gets a snazzy new pinstripe and rose-pinned suit. A day later on September 13, the Blackmailer elusive target returns to Paris with a 10-day time limit.

September 19 will show off some featured contract created by the Hitman 2 community. Submissions for that end on September 16. Another escalation contract will take Agent 47 back to Santa Fortuna, and unlocks an emetic grenade that makes anyone caught in its blast puke.

There’s currently no word on whether IO Interactive plans to continue with Hitman 2 content into 2020, but IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak stated that the company is viewing Hitman as a trilogy, and that a third installment may be episodic, like 2016’s Hitman reboot. Last year’s Hitman 2 dropped the episodic format entirely after a traumatic 2017 where Square Enix decided to sell off the company.

Last but not least, Hitman 2 will see the return of an infamous elusive target: The elderly Angel of Death, a grandmotherly retired nurse named Etta Davis, is returning to the Marrakesh map.Joseph Knoop is a writer/producer for IGN, and he’s going on murder vacation.
