Jon Bernthal breaks bad in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is set to release on October 4, 2019, and developer Ubisoft recently revealed that its open beta will go live on September 5. Marvel’s The Punisher alum Jon Bernthal plays the game’s antagonist, Colonel Cole D. Walker, the charismatic leader of a group of former Ghosts who call themselves The Wolves.
At E3 2019, Bernthal spoke to IGN about his upcoming role in Breakpoint and how his character will impact in the game. “I think the important thing to take away is that [Cole] was a Ghost, so he’s got the same training and the same capabilities,” Bernthal explained. “I think what’s different is his mindset and his mission. He has a different code.”
Bernthal went on to talk about The Wolves and how they will make a formidable opponent for the player. “There’s no length that [The Wolves] won’t go to complete their mission,” Bernthal told IGN. “They do not have the same moral hindrance that the Ghosts do. That can make them more dangerous and more lethal.”
