Say hello to Big Khan the moose.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden will be getting a new expansion – Seed of Evil – that will bring hours of gameplay, new locations to visit, and a new leading character – Big Khan the moose – to the turn-based tactical adventure game.

Mutant Year Zero is set in a post-apocalyptic Sweden and has players controlling a group of mutants trying to survive in the ruins of civilization. In our review, we said, “In changing the interplay between stealth and combat, Mutant Year Zero spins an interesting and intense new perspective on turn-based tactics that pushes you to get the most out of every move you make.”

The Seed of Evil expansion looks to expand upon that and brings a new threat to the mix -“powerful and ominous roots have emerged and seem to be taking control over the minds of friends and foes alike.”

As previously mentioned, Big Khan the moose will be available as a new party member and “he is not only skilled at landing critical hits but comes with the unique mutations Ground Pound and Flame Puke, giving the option to apply a more diverse playstyle in order to succeed.”

Mutant Year Zero’s Seed of Evil expansion will be released on July 30, 2019, for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The expansion will cost $14.99 USD, and a Deluxe Edition will also be available that bundles the original game and the Seed of Evil expansion.

For those with Xbox Game Pass, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is part of the extensive library right now to allow players to jump in and see for themselves if they wish to purchase the expansion later this year.
