Limbitless Solutions, a company that specializes in creating 3D-printed prosthetic limbs, is collaborating with Halo-developer 343 Industries to create a Master Chief arm for kids who want to live out their dreams of being Halo’s main character themselves, even if just a little bit.
You might remember Limbitless from their viral video a few years back where Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. gave a child an Iron Man-themed prosthetic arm. The high-tech limbs are created in a variety of different themes and licenses, from sports teams to Spider-Man.
The Halo studio posted news about the collaboration on their official blog today, emphasizing how it fits with their focus on “inspiring heroes and delivering wonder.” If you’re pro-Spartan but not necessarily all about Master Chief, the companies are offering “multiplayer” variants on the arm with different color schemes to match the Spartan you want to be.
Limbitless hopes to get the arms out next year.
