11-11: Memories Retold is an upcoming game from some of the minds behind Valiant Hearts and the animation studio, Aardman, that explores relationships forged during World War I.
Today publisher Bandai Namco announced plans to release DLC for the game and a portion of its sales will go towards the charity War Child, which helps children affected by war. You can learn more about the charity here, or by listening to Elijah Wood (who plays the game’s protagonist, Harry) explain it in the video below.
In terms of the DLC’s content, it will follow the story of Jack and Eva, two young children affected by the violence of World War I. The DLC’s story is apparently, “directly inspired by real life stories from the children supported by War Child.”
Both 11-11: Memories Retold and its War Child DLC release November 9 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more on the game, you can read our E3 interview with the game’s director right here.
