D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions includes two main missions, and “a new game experience where players will investigate the fate of a lost convoy, encountering unexpected threats along the way.”
In addition to the new missions, called Camp White Oak and Manning National Zoo, as well as the new Expeditions experience, one new exotic weapon the Diamondback Rifle, one new piece of exotic gear the BTSU Datagloves, and two new weapons — the Stoner LMG and Carbine 7 — are also available. You can see some of these new weapons in the gallery below.
Two new classified assignments are available exlucively to Year 1 pass holders, located at the Washington’s Central Aquarium and NSA Site B13.
And based on player feedback, Episode 1 will also include a new discovery difficulty setting for the Operation Dark Hours raid, crafting improvements like sharing blueprints across characters, recalibrating crafted weapons, and gear up to Gear Score 500; and various weapon balancing and skills buffing.
Ubisoft previously detailed the full The Division 2 Year 1 roadmap at E3 2019, while a recent update added raid matchmaking in The Division 2.
We also learned the previously announced The Division movie is being made at Netflix.
