Who Plays Spider-Man in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3?

If the webhead’s voice sounds familiar to you, you’re not alone _ while playing, many of us in the office instantly recognized that actor Yuri Lowenthal portrays Spider-Man in Ultimate Alliance 3. Lowenthal, of course, most recently played Peter Parker/Spider-Man in last year’s great Marvel’s Spider-Man, the PS4 exclusive developed by Insomniac Games.

While this doesn’t necessarily mean this Spider-Man is the same one in that universe — after all, he’s not wearing his now trademark white spider symbol and Marvel Games has previously said it wants each developer to make the Marvel game they want to — it’s certainly a nice nod to a performance that many fans loved. IGN’s Spider-Man PS4 review praised Lowenthal’s performance as both Peter and Spidey.

Who Plays Miles Morales: Spider-Man in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3?

While Miles Morales finally hit theaters last year with the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, he’s previously appeared in several TV shows and even last year’s Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4. And the actor who’s been portraying him in animated series and the hit PS4 exclusive last year is reprising his role in this game.

Nadji Jeter, who portrayed Miles Morales in Marvel’s Spider-Man and the 2017-present animated series Spider-Man, also voices him in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

Who Plays Black Widow in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3?

Ultimate Alliance 3 isn’t an Avengers game in name, per se, but it does of course capture the spirit of various Marvel heroes coming together to stop the same threat that the Avengers comics and now blockbuster films are famous for. Marvel Games will try to capture that team’s dynamic in 2020’s Marvel’s Avengers, which includes among its all-star cast Laura Bailey as Black Widow.

And Bailey also happens to star as the Black Widow of Ultimate Alliance 3. Neither performance is Bailey’s first time as the Marvel assassin, as she’s previously portrayed the character in both video games and animated series. Ultimate Alliance 3 definitely seems to like to draw in memorable voice performers to return to roles they’ve acted well before, and Bailey’s is no exception.

Who Plays the Guardians of the Galaxy in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3?

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 opens up with a Guardians of the Galaxy-focused level, setting off the adventure that will eventually pull in a bunch of other Marvel heroes. And if that cast sounds familiar, it’s because 4/5 of the Guardians are voiced by the same acting ensemble that performed as them in Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy episodic series.

Scott Porter voices Star-Lord, Brandon Paul Eells plays Drax, Adam Harrington portrays Groot, and Nolan North plays Rocket. But instead of Emily O’Brien, who voiced Gamora in the Telltale series, Vanessa Marshall has taken over as the daughter of Thanos for Ultimate Alliance 3. (Marshall voices Gamora in the Guardians of the Galaxy Disney XD series.)

Who Plays Deadpool in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3?

Nolan North not only returns to voicing Rocket in Ultimate Alliance 3, but also returns to voice Deadpool. North previously voiced the character in the Activision-published Deadpool game. IGN’s Deadpool review from when the game first launched praised North’s performance, and fans should be happy to hear his performance this time around, too.

Of course, there are many other Marvel heroes and villains in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 cast, including more with returning voice actors.
