Flip pills before dragging them into the board[edit]

You can rotate pills before dragging them into the board. It’s easier to do this before moving the pull than after because as soon as you release a pill on the board it will start moving up until it touches another object. And once you move a pill onto the board you cannot move it lower on the screen (only higher).

So you’re better off rotating the pill before hand.

Don’t wait for the pills to float up[edit]

This is especially useful in timed stages or competitive versus play.

As soon as you release a pill on the board, it will float upwards until it hits another object. Don’t wait for this to happen.

Instead, drag the pill exactly where you want it to go. You can even put them in spots they wouldn’t be able to float to (as pictured below).

You can do this at any time with any stray floating pills.

On that note…

Treat half pills just like regular pills[edit]

Sometimes half a pill will clear a row, leaving the other half of the pill to float by itself. Touch this half pill and move it where ever you want (but just like all pills it cannot be moved any lower on the board than its current position).

Below is an example. The blue half pill is floating on its own but the red one is being moved directly (which is why it has that pulse icon around it).

Buy Assistant characters quickly[edit]

You can have up to 2 Assistant characters with your Doctor. These assistants have attributes that will help you clear stages.

You will unlock one during the stages but to get your next one spend 4,000 coins (in-game currency) or use real life money. For more on unlocking characters, check out our character guide.

For example:

• Goombas will increase your score by 1% in stage mode and grants a 4% chance that (if the opponent attacks) your attack meter will fill instantly in versus mode.
• Blooper grants a 10% chance that your initial capsules (2) will be matching-color in stage mode and grants a 20% chance the initial capsules (4) will be matching-color in versus mode.

Choose your main character carefully[edit]

You will get to pick your first doctor from the following 3 doctors: Dr. Mario, Dr. Peach, Dr. Bowser. Each have their own unique skill. Which one you want to go with will depend on your own preference but be aware that they all have different Skills in both stage and online versus mode.
