Apex Legends’ Season 1 Battle Pass (available on March 19) has plenty of new, exclusive cosmetic items along with Apex Packs among its 100 levels of rewards. The Battle Pass is a purchasable with Apex Coins, but players who wish to only play for free can do so and earn a few free rewards. Battle Pass levels are earned by simply playing Apex Legends. The Battle Pass expires at the end of the season, which runs for roughly three months, but you’ll keep all the cosmetics you earn throughout the season.

Remember, the new legend Octane is not included in the Battle Pass. He must be purchased separately.
The Wild Frontier Season 1 Battle Pass comes in two options: the standard Battle Pass and the Battle Pass Bundle. Neither can be purchased in the general online stores, but are instead bought in-game through the Battle Pass tab. You’ll need to add Apex Coins to your account in order to buy the Battle Pass in-game.
The standard Apex Legends Season 1 Battle Pass costs 950 Apex Coins, which adds up to be $9.99 USD for the 1,000 Apex Coins pack.
The Battle Pass Bundle unlocks 25 levels of the Battle Pass instantly and costs 2,800 Apex Coins. There aren’t any Apex Coin packs that amount to that exactly, so you’ll want to purchase the $9.99 USD pack for 1,000 Apex Coins and then the $19.99 USD pack for the other 2,000 Apex Coins.
If you buy the Battle Pass or the Battle Pass Bundle after leveling your free Battle Pass, you’ll retroactively unlock at the awards. If you’ve purchased the Bundle, you’ll unlock the next 25 levels in your Battle Pass.
There are other bundles for purchase that come with other items in addition to Apex Coins that could help make up for any coins you need if you don’t want to buy the full 1,000 pack. For instance, there’s the Apex Legends Starter Pack that costs $4.99 USD and comes with 600 Apex Coins. You cannot purchase this again if you’ve already bought it for your account.
After you have a Battle Pass, you can purchase additional levels for it at 150 Apex Coins per level. Find this option and the left side of the Battle Pass menu above the rewards bar.
Season 1 Battle Pass Worth[edit]
You can see a detailed list of every reward below. If you reach 100 levels during Season 1, the total value of the Battle Pass in rewards is approximated to be about 7790 Apex Coins. See the math behind this number in u/DarthSartoris’ original Reddit post.
7790 Apex Coins is the equivalent of about $70 USD.
Even if you don’t buy the Season 1 Battle Pass, you will earn a handful of rewards by playing during the season.

Even though some thing like the trackers unlock later into the Battle Pass (free or paid), they will still track your stats as you play Apex Legends, just like the other trackers do.

How to Level Up the Battle Pass Faster[edit]
The easiest way to unlock rewards is, obviously, by playing. However, there are systems in place to help you earn rewards faster. The best way to do this is by making the most of the Legend Bonus:
As the image describes, every week you can get up to 25,000 bonus Battle Pass points per Legend just by surviving with them. To make the most of this, be sure to try and survive longer and try out different Legends once you’ve earned 25,000 bonus points for a Legend.
As mentioned previously, you can also purchase additional Battle Pass levels for 150 Apex Coins each.
