Harry Potter: Wizards Unite features various kinds of potions that’ll help you complete tasks, specifically when taking on Foundables.
This page is a comprehensive list of all potions in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, along with a guide on how to brew them.
You’ll need to be level 4 to unlock potions brewing.
Potion Crafting is one of the several activities. Collect items on the map and from Greenhouses to concoct potions that can help you in battle. Ingredients are available based on location, time of day, and weather. It’s unclear at this time wether or not those factors also affect potion brewing.
You should always have a potion brewing as long as you have the ingredients to do so.

Master Notes[edit]
It’s worth noting that all potions also have their own masters notes. Master notes are actions you can do to a potion to take some time off how long it takes to brew.
To use Master Notes, you need to have a potion currently brewing. Go to your potions and choose to brew a potion if you don’t have one in the cauldron already. Then tap on the wooden spoon coming out of the cauldron.
You should see a series of blank squares above your potion. These indicate how many actions you’ll need to perform. Each time you perform a correct action it will fill in the square – if you get it wrong it will turn red and you’ll have to start again.
Each potion has its own specific actions you’ll need to complete in order to get the desired results.
Once you’ve completed the Master Notes for any potion 3 times they will save to your notes and you will be able to see them above your cauldron rather than needing to remember them or look them up.
