There are three professions in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite: Auror, Professor, and Magizoologist. Pick one of the three to determine certain abilities. Your profession can be changed at any time.

  • Auror – Specializes in attack and does well against Dark Forces
  • Magizoologist – Specializes in resources and health and does well against Beasts
  • Professor – A balanced mix of both that does well against Curiosities.

Visit each profession page to see its skill tree (or Lessons) and for tips.

Once you’ve chosen a profession you can then upgrade them. It’s a good idea to choose professions and upgrades that work well with your friend to help complete challenges.

How to Level Up Professions[edit]

To advance in the skill tree and complete lesson you’ll need to spend Scrolls and Books which are earned through playing the game. One of the main ways to earn these is by capturing Foundables and advancing your rank in the various Foundables Registries.

It’s often significantly cheaper to only level up each skill once and move on through the skill tree. This lets you unlock other skills you like faster as well as potentially saving on your resources.

Under each Profession, you can see your player stats. This gives you an outline of how your levelled up skill tree has changed your character.
