In need of a pit-stop.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the remake of Naughty Dog’s classic kart racer, has released to critical acclaim, but is suffering some unfortunate online issues.

Many players have taken to social media channels to discuss the problems they are encountering in CTR’s online multiplayer. As demonstrated by a video linked to us on Twitter, players are seemingly disconnecting and disappearing off the track.

Other players on Reddit have posted about similar issues, including descriptions of player models not being synchronised to the mini map, and every other player ‘leaving’ the race, defaulting the remaining player to first place.

Developer of the Nitro-Fueled remake, Beenox, is already aware of the issue and has Tweeted to say that an “immediate fix” is in the works to address the problem.
