The release date for the upcoming Harry Potter Wizards Unite mobile game has been announced for June 21, 2019.

The announcement came from an exclusive event in Los Angeles, where CEO of Niantic, John Hanke, released details about the upcoming game, and was later confirmed on Harry Potter: Wizards Unite’s Twitter.

For all the details on Harry Potter Wizards Unite, check out IGN’s preview of the game, where we said that despite it not having the option to hangout with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, “Niantic and WB have crafted a new type of adventure in the wizarding world — one that I’m excited for, and one I hope can bring a bit of magic to my everyday life.”

Last month, Pottermore and Warner Bros. announced a joint collaboration for the new site, WizardingWorld.com, where all of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts content will be released from now on – with Pottermore eventually being the main hub for solely an online store.

Wizarding World brings the rights to Harry Potter – both books and film – together in one location, so that the possibilities are endless to the content that can be created.
