Digital savings start June 11.

If you buy something through this post, IGN may get a share of the sale. For more, read our Terms of Use.

Nintendo E3 2019 plans are out in the open and everyone in attendance is probably going to do their best to play Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, but in deal land, Nintendo isn’t suggesting you stand in line to enjoy big savings. Similar to last year, Nintendo is having a special E3 eShop sale to celebrate the biggest week in gaming.

There will be plenty of deals on “select digital Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games in Nintendo eShop and on Nintendo.com,” according to Nintendo, and the whole thing kicks off at 10 am PT June 11 and runs until 11:59 pm PT on June 18.

It’s a bit of a late start considering Sony kicked off its E3 2019 Days of Play sale and Microsoft has tons of discounts in its own Xbox E3 2019 sale. But Nintendo marches to its own beat, and its sale runs a few days after E3 ends. The full list of discounts will be on the eShop starting Tuesday (note: link isn’t live yet). Expect lots of indies for big savings, as well as bigger games and lots of stuff you’ve never even heard of.

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for $49.99

On Amazon

The Nintendo Pro Controller debuted at $69.99 and even at that price, it’s worth picking up. It’s a really excellent controller. This is the best price in as long as I can remember, and for $50 this is practically a steal. If you already have a Pro Controller, it might be worth grabbing an extra one while the price is so low.

Nintendo Switch Deals

You can pick up a new Nintendo Switch with some pretty decent deals right now. Or if you already have a Nintendo Switch and you’re looking for some early game deals, you can jump right to them.

Nintendo Switch Starlink Bundle Starting at $322

Nintendo Switch With 64GB or 128GB Micro SD Card Bundle Deal

On Amazon

Consider one of these Nintendo Switch storage bundles if you’re looking for the perfect bundle to give someone as a gift. A surprising amount of people still think of video game consoles requiring memory cards, and the Switch branding on this SanDisk Micro SD card removes any doubt as to its compatibility.

Nintendo Switch Game Deals

Just because the official Nintendo E3 2019 sale hasn’t kicked off yet doesn’t mean there aren’t chances to save on Switch consoles and games. Here are some of the best live Nintendo Switch deals ahead of next week’s E3 2019 eShop sale.

Get $10 Prime Credit on Pokemon Sword/Shield

On Amazon

Amazon has a rare $10 Prime credit when you preorder either Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield. In fact, the credit makes buying one of each a better deal than buying the double-pack, which is $119.99 and offers no Prime credit incentive.

On Walmart

This is the best game for Nintendo Switch and one of the best games, period. If you don’t have it yet, I suggest you go ahead and place an order.

Super Mario Odyssey for $49.94

On Walmart

Super Mario Odyssey is tied for the best Switch game. Maybe it’s a close second. It’s really hard to decide. This version comes with a cool guidebook in addition to the game itself.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for $49.94

On Walmart

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the absolute must-have games for the Nintendo Switch. It’s also one of the most popular games available for any system, so any reduction in price is a cause for celebration. You can grab it for 17% off its $59.99 list price right now.

On Amazon

This is one of the finest 2D Mario games available, and everyone who missed out on it for the Wii U can enjoy it on the go now.

Mortal Kombat 11 for $49.94
