We may all be able to jump into the Crypt of the NecroDancer’s Zelda spin-off this Thursday!

Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring the Legend of Zelda’s release date may have been leaked, indicating that Crypt of the Necrodancer’s Zelda spin-off will be arriving on Nintendo Switch this week.

Via NintendoLife, Twitter user NWPlayer123 discovered that the source code of Cadence of Hyrule’s Nintendo of America game page now shows a release date of May 30, 2019.

The live page only says “Spring 2019,” which obviously would fall in line with this new date, and it does fall on a Thursday which is when many Nintendo Switch titles are released.

This also falls in line with another story by NintendoLife, in which Cadence of Hyrule was included in a Nintendo Europe e-mail that was promoting all Switch games being released in May 2019.

Cadence of Hyrule was revealed during the Nindies Showcase at GDC 2019 and is a collaboration between Nintendo and third-party indie developer Brace Yourself Games.

Crypt of the NecroDancer was originally released in 2015, and in our review, we said that it is “an inspired rhythm-action roguelike powered by an excellent soundtrack.”

This newest title will feature the same gameplay of the original but will feature Link and Zelda as playable characters, creatures and items from Hyrule, and, of course, music and sounds inspired by the iconic series.
