Close / Mid / Jump refers to how near to a character you need to be to perform a fatality on them. Close is right up in their face, mid is a few paces away and Far is a good jump away from your opponent.
15. Kitana – Gore-nado
At 15 we have Kitana’s Gore-Nado, using her fans to slice open her enemy and her wind ability to create a vortex of their blood and guts. Nice.
14. Erron Black: Deathtrap
At 14 we have Erron Black’s Death Trap, which uses a combination of a bear trap to the chest and a shotgun through the skull. BOOM!
13. Baraka: Rock, Paper, Baraka
At 13 Baraka takes the spot with Rock, Paper, Baraka, slicing and dicing his way through his opponent’s corpse.
12. Sub-Zero: Frozen in Time
At 12 we have Sub-Zero’s Frozen in Time, where he utilizes his classic spine ripping action, along with an ice clone for a super creative finishing move.
11. Jade: Pole Dance
Jade dances her way to number 11 with Pole Dance, or should we say she makes her opponent dance. Unwillingly. Gross.
10. Skarlet: Bloody Mess
Entering the top 10 we have Skarlet’s Bloody Mess, and how can you not love someone getting pierced by spears made of their own coagulated blood.
9. Frost: Ice Sculpture
Frost’s Ice Sculpture is truly a work of art at number 9. Literally.
8.Noob Saibot: Split Decision
Noob’s Split Decision comes in at number 8, echoing his duel personalities by splitting his opponent… into 4 quarters. Math is hard.
7. Kabal: Road Rash
Kabal uses a burst of speed against his opponent’s face to reach the number 7 spot.
6. Scorpion: You’re Next
An instant klassic from the first Mortal Kombat 11 trailer, Scorpion spears his way through his opponent’s face into spot number 6.
5. Geras: Peeling Back
Top 5 now, the bloody creme of the crop. At 5 we have Geras’ peeling back, which we’ll let you see what that means for yourself.
4. Cetrion: Maintaining Balance
At number 4, Cetrion uses all of the elements at her disposal, finishing her opponent in 2 ways before dealing a finishing blow with three long earthen blades.
3. Kung Lao: Meat Slicer
Deli meat anyone? Kung Lao knows his way around a Meat Slicing hat with the number 3 spot.
2. Jacqui Briggs: Nothin’ But Neck
Jacqui Brigg’s takes the number 2 spot, with perhaps the most creative way to split an opponent in half.
1. D’Vorah: New Species
The top spot goes to the one Fatality that gives us the creepy-crawlies every time we see it. D’Vorah’s New Species, if you have any semblance of arachnophobia, stay far away from this one.
