Xbox Games With Gold May 2019 Free Games Announced

The May 2019 Xbox Games with Gold free games lineup has been announced.

Revealed by Microsoft, next month’s lineup features Marooners, The Golf Club 2019, Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon and Comic Jumper.

Here are the timeframes for when you can download these titles:

• Marooners – Xbox One (May 1-31)
• The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour – Xbox One (May 16-June 15)
• Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon – Xbox 360, Xbox One via backward compatibility (May 1-15)
• Comic Jumper – Xbox 360, Xbox One via backward compatibility (May 16-31)

Marooners is a party title featuring 25 different games and arenas that can be played with up to six friends via couch co-op or online.

The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour lets players take on courses like TPC Boston, Sawgrass and more to compete for the FedEx cup.

In our review of Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, we called this third-person alien shooter “Good” saying “It isn’t the best at anything, but it’s got a flair for the ridiculous that makes it unique in a genre that often takes itself a little too seriously.”

In our review of Comic Jumper, we called this comics beat ‘em up game “Great” saying “It offers a clever experience but knows exactly when it might wear out its welcome, and then ends before that.”

April 2019’s Games with Gold featured The Technomancer, the original Xbox version of Star Wars Battlefront II and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2.
