Heads Up: Mortal Kombat 11 Kollector's Edition Preorders Are Live

Mortal Kombat 11 was officially revealed during the 2018 Game Awards with a gore-filled trailer, followed by a gameplay reveal January 17. The release date for Mortal Kombat 11 is April 23, 2019, so there’s plenty of time for NetherRealm Studios to tease more characters, more editions, and other Mortal Kombat 11 extras and surprises. There’s also plenty of time to get your Mortal Kombat 11 preorder in, for a lovely launch day of kombat and to ensure beta access at the end of March.

Preordering Mortal Kombat 11 gets you access to Shao Kahn, as well as the Mortal Kombat 11 beta on March 28. During the live gameplay reveal, NetherRealm Studios also announced the Mortal Kombat 11 Kollector’s Edition.

Mortal Kombat 11 Standard Edition

If you preorder the Mortal Kombat 11 standard edition on PS4 or Xbox One, you open access to the bonus Mortal Kombat 11 character Shao Kahn, as well as beta access in March.

Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition

The Mortal Kombat 11 premium edition unlocks the same preorder bonuses as the standard edition, but includes the Kombat Pack. Kombat Packs in the past include early access to characters, skins, and more Mortal Kombat content. NetherRealms will likely roll out reveals of the Kombat Packs during its weekly streams.

Mortal Kombat 11 Kollector’s Edition

The Kollector’s Edition includes the game, steelbook, and a Scorpion mask, as well as special packaging. The Kollector’s edition is $299 and is a GameStop exclusive.
